Cookie policy

What is stored on a device, and why there is so little of it.

In force since Version 1.0

This page lists everything this installation stores on your device. It is short, and that is deliberate.

The one that is needed

A session cookie, set when you sign in. It is what tells the product which account is asking. Without it you are signed out on every page. It is set by the sign-in provider, it is not readable by scripts on the page, and it goes when you sign out or when the session expires.

The ones that are preferences

Two small values kept in your browser's own storage rather than sent to a server: whether you chose the light or dark theme, and whether the little notices in the workbench are shown. They exist so a page does not flash the wrong colour or forget a choice, and nothing reads them but your own browser.

What is not here

No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking pixels. No analytics that profiles you, because this installation runs none. Nothing here follows you to another site.

If that changes

A cookie that is there for measurement or advertising has to be named on this page before it is set, and the version and date at the top change with the words.

Managing them

Your browser can block or remove all of the above. If the session cookie is blocked, signing in will not work, which is the only thing on this page anybody can break from their browser settings.

This version

Version 1.0, in force since 6 October 2026.
