Library
Where everything an account makes is kept, how to find it again, and what the assistant is allowed to remember.
Three screens hold what an account accumulates. They are the part of the product people come back to months later, which is why the filters matter more than the layout.
Library
/dashboard/library is everything the account has: files it uploaded, files the assistant made, folders,
favourites and pictures.
| Control | Options |
|---|---|
| Tabs | Suggested, Favorites, Folders, Images, All |
| View | A list, or a grid of previews |
| Source | Any source, made by Loomis, or uploaded |
| Type | Any file, images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets |
| Order | Last activity, name, or size |
| New | A folder, or a picture. There is no document editor here, deliberately |
The Suggested tab is the shelf the installation fills for a new account, which is what
Content → Library defaults in the panel configures. Changing it affects new accounts rather than existing
libraries.
The bin
Deleting is a move to the bin, not a deletion. The bin shows what is in it, with a countdown: when the installation's retention window passes, the item is purged. Until then it can be restored.
Where that window is set is the owner's side of the product: Platform → Storage & files in the panel holds the
retention and the limits, and the same screen reports how many bytes are being held, by kind.
Why a countdown rather than an undo button
An undo button is only honest while the page is open. A countdown is honest about the real rule: the item is recoverable until a moment that the screen states plainly.
Images
/dashboard/images is the gallery, with pagination and the same content as the library's Images tab. It exists
because a picture is the one kind of file people look for by eye rather than by name.
Generation is where images come from, either from the composer's Create image mode or from the library's
New menu. Which models may draw, the longest prompt, and the words that are refused are all settings in
Content → Image generation. A refused prompt produces a sentence naming the rule rather than an empty result.
Memory
/dashboard/memory is what the assistant has been asked to remember about the person, and it is deliberately a
short list: a memory is a fact that changes future answers, and a long list of facts is a long list of ways to be
wrong.
Two ways memories arrive:
- The assistant proposes one during a conversation, and it is kept if the person agrees.
- Import memory to Loomis, in the account menu, brings memories in from somewhere else.
Intelligence → Agent behaviour decides whether memories are used at all, and the memory list is the person's
own: it can be edited and removed by them, not only by the owner.
Finding things again
Filter before searching. The three filters cut a library down faster than any search box, and they combine.
Favourite the things you use. Favourites are the second tab for a reason, and they are one click to set.
Search conversations by content. The conversation list is the Search chats dialog, not a page, and it searches what was said.
Use Activity for recency. /dashboard/activity is every conversation,
newest first, with the ability to pin the ones worth keeping at the top.
What is shared between people
A personal library belongs to one account. When a team shares one depends on the plan's entitlements:
Money → Entitlements decides whether a plan unlocks shared projects and a shared library, and
Teams is where the people come from.
